What is and how is relationship between science and religion, and modeling this relationship is main purpose of this paper. Approaches that sought to explain the relationship between science and religion (Differentiated perspective and conflict, cross and confirmation) only explore one aspect of this relationship and all of them are containing the basic weakness: they do not provide a theoretical model regarding encountering scientific and theological propositions. We can distinguish four areas in this subject: ontological, epistemological, semantic and genetic. This paper explains the relationship between science and religion in two areas: ontology and epistemology; and then provides two models regarding the explanation of this relationship in the two areas. About the ontological model, we use from mechanical view of the DNA molecule and then provide the model based on three concepts: religious truths, natural truths and points of coincidence. Epistemological model to explain the relationship between scientific propositions and theological propositions are presented based on separation the hard core of scientific theories and religious theology from their protective belt of them. After providing the above models, we try to show their logical consistency.

The obtained results will lead to the cognition and deeper comprehension of the wonders of the Koran and a deeper and stronger faith and belief in the absolute possessor of science in the universe, that is God the Almighty, and His last messenger and His everlasting miracle, the Holy Koran.

The purpose of this paper is the introduction of molecular biological mechanisms that the biology of body is affected by the beliefs and faith. The study of molecular biology scientists about processes which cells receive information has shown that the cells receive signals originating from external electromagnetic fields of religious beliefs through the cell membrane protein. Then it changes in gene expression and the biological control of the body.
The biology of belief is a groundbreaking work in the field of new biology. The implications of this research radically change our understanding of life. It shows that genes and DNA do not control our biology; that instead DNA is controlled by signals from outside the cell, including the energetic messages emanating from our positive and negative thoughts.
Prayer as energy fields can affect gene expression and affect cell physiology. Recent research in cell biology and quantum physics led to a major advance in the scientific explanation for religious belief in the efficacy of treatment of diseases

Ian Barbour, American physicist and theologian, undoubtedly is a prominent and effective figure in new debates about the relation between science and religion. Some of his works count as a turning point and the beginning of recent discussions about science and religion. He divides views or suggested models about relation between them in four groups: conflict, independence, dialogue, and integrity. His personal analysis tends to dialogue with an apparent tendency towards integrity and unity that is consistent with his process thought and critical realism.

The way of relations between science and religion was of important questions which has received different answers in past centuries. In this paper, it is tried to argue that albeit of great developments of science and its extensive role in human’s life, humankind needing to religion was of his/ her fundamental requirements, and this is religion that can answer human’s fundamental questions, then there is no rational justification for view pints about limitations of religion. Of course there are similarities between science and religion that can make possible their more cooperation which some of them are in experience, explanation, objectivity, models and paradigms of religion and science. Meantime, each religion and science has their special function. In this aspect, we can show some roles of religion in science including its role in taking presuppositions of science, and forming theories and laws of science. Scientific developments, also, can help human to better understand and explain religious beliefs.

The relation between science and religion has been one of the serious concerns within human sciences. In principle, this relation has been categorized in four different fashions of conflict, autonomy, dialog and convergence. In this article, while we have elaborated these four different models but the main purpose has been to contextualize the position of Shariati in this larger debate. It has been argued that the Shariatian position has relied upon major concepts such as Hellenism, Capitalism, Negation of Natural Science’s monopoly, and the convergence of science and religion. In other words, Shariati refutes the conflictual position and works instead upon the convergence of religion and science. Of course, he relies very much on progressive discourses in his pursuit which has been delineated in details.
